Chord Mojo 2 + Sennheiser IE 600 – Desktop Sound From a Phone

The Mojo 2 is the portable DAC/amp our customers buy most, and the IE 600 is Sennheiser's audiophile in-ear. Connect the Mojo 2 to a phone or laptop and it does the decoding and driving. One order.

In This Setup

  • Chord Mojo 2 – custom FPGA DAC up to 768 kHz/32-bit and DSD256, lossless UHD DSP tone control, USB-C, micro-USB, optical and coax, around 8 hours of battery.
  • Sennheiser IE 600 – 7 mm TrueResponse drivers, amorphous zirconium housings, D2CA chambers, 4 Hz - 46.5 kHz, gold-plated MMCX connectors, silicone and memory-foam tips.

Why This Combination

  • Phone becomes a source: the Mojo 2 bypasses the phone DAC entirely.
  • Tone control without loss: adjust bass and treble in the DSP, not by EQ app.
  • Pocket-sized: both fit a jacket pocket.
