Edifier R2000DB 2.1 Set – A First Real Stereo for the Living Room

Active speakers, floor stands and a subwoofer, chosen to work together and ordered once. Plug in a TV, a phone or a turntable with a built-in preamp and the room has proper stereo without an amplifier.

In This Setup

  • Edifier R2000DB (pair) – 120 W RMS, 5.2-inch mid-woofers and 25 mm silk-dome tweeters, Bluetooth, optical, coaxial and two RCA inputs, remote control, angled MDF cabinets.
  • Kanto SP26 stands (pair) – 66 cm steel stands with two interchangeable top plates, adjustable feet and a hollow column for cables.
  • Edifier T5 – 8-inch front-firing powered subwoofer, 70 W RMS, adjustable 50-150 Hz low-pass and phase control.

Why This Combination

  • Full range: the T5 adds the bottom octave bookshelf speakers cannot reach.
  • Right height: SP26 lifts the tweeters to seated ear level.
