Volt 2 + NT1 Home Studio Set – Vintage Colour on a Clean Desk

Universal Audio's Vintage preamp mode, RODE's quietest studio condenser and the headphones most engineers own, with a PSA1 arm so the mic floats over the desk instead of standing on it. One order for a desk that is ready to record vocals, voice-over and instruments.

In This Setup

  • Universal Audio Volt 2 – 2-in/2-out USB-C interface, 24-bit/192 kHz, Vintage Mic Preamp mode inspired by the UA 610 and MIDI I/O; Ableton Live Lite and Melodyne Essential included.
  • RODE NT1 5th Generation – XLR and USB-C in one condenser: 4 dBA self-noise and 32-bit float USB recording up to 192 kHz. Black or Silver.
  • Audio-Technica ATH-M50x – the closed-back studio standard: 45 mm large-aperture drivers and a folding build. Black or White.
  • RODE PSA1 – parallelogram studio boom arm with internal springs, desk clamp and desk insert, 700 g-1.1 kg load.
  • K&M 23956 Popkiller – double nylon screen, 13 cm shield on a 33 cm gooseneck; clamps to stands up to 30 mm.
